Chris G. Williams Beware: I mix tech and personal interests here.

Hey Jeff...

(I could do this privately, but I'm hoping this will prompt some discussion of my suggestions from the GWB community.)

Are the following modifications possible with the existing GWB engine?

1. On the aggregated (main feed) page, show how many comments each post has.

Why? Sometimes I read an interesting or well written post and click on it to see if there are any comments or discussion, only to be bummed that there aren't any yet. With some posts, the comments can be even more interesting (entertaining?) than the original post. Seeing a high number of comments for a post would definitely pique my interest enough to click on it.

2. On the aggregated (main feed) page, add support for a “cut tag.” Anything after this tag would only appear in the user's blog, not the aggregated (main feed) page.

Why? Maybe I want to post a really long entry to my blog with lots of screenshots or sample code. I can start the article or blog entry with a couple paragraphs and then put all the code or screenshots after the cut tag. This keeps the main page manageable (and loading faster) and doesn't affect the individual blogs (other than increasing traffic for the interesting posts)

Anyway, just some suggestions. Comments welcome and appreciated, etc...

Maybe we could also add "DiggIt" and "Del.icio.us" links to the posts on the main page too. Just a thought.
